KS3 Science |
|
In KS3 we are teaching an innovative themed curriculum - Upd8 Wikid Science – which our students are thoroughly enjoying and which builds well on Science studied at KS2. Science topics are mainly taught in context and in an exciting ‘hands-on’ way. Themes such as ‘Cook!’ ‘Forensics’ and ‘Contact’ allow Y7 and Y8 students to become celebrity chefs, scene of crime officers and to search for extra-terrestrial life! Our focus is to engage students in science and to provide secure foundation learning they can build on in future years. Y9 is a shorter ‘bridging’ course where students go deeper into topics and further develop their investigative skills in preparation for KS4 |
