The School Magazine

The Messenger

The Messenger magazine has been a regular part of life at Thornton for the past 3 years. It hopefully gives the reader an insight into the day - to - day life of the school and the many varied and exciting activities that take palce during the school year.

Below are PDF copies of the magazines, please feel free to have a look through and download them if you so desire. The magazine is used to celebrate success and the wonderful achievements of pupils' in school. Young people are often given a hard time, too much attention is given to those that behave in anti-social and unacceptable ways; the magazine hopefully will demonstrate that the majority of young people are a credit to themselves and that they are capable of wonderful achievements.

All articles are written by staff, the editorial process is sometimes difficult as we have numerous news worthy items. We would like to thank Words and Pictures for their invaluable help in the production of the magazines, we hope you enjoy reading them!
